When a garage door breaks in Austin, the person who shows up matters as much as the parts on the truck. Our crew has worked on doors in Hyde Park bungalows, Mueller moderns, Round Rock cul-de-sacs, and Barton Hills hillsides. What unites them isn’t a uniform, though they wear one. It’s a shared refusal to leave a job until the door runs quiet, balances right, and opens on the first try. Every technician carries the same written-price rule and the same 365-Day Done Right Promise, but the hands doing the work are local, named, and accountable to you by name.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus Ellery, Owner
Marcus has been fixing garage doors in Austin since 2001, and he still carries a torsion spring tool in his truck because he’d rather show you the problem than describe it. He started under the Kingswell standard and has spent more than two decades holding every job to it: say the price before the work, show up in the window, leave the place cleaner than we found it, put the guarantee in writing, come back if it fails. Marcus signs off on the hardest spring jobs, the ones where a door has been jerking for months or slamming when it hits the floor. On weekends you’ll find him at Barton Springs with his kids, not far from the houses he’s spent his career protecting.
Daniel R., Lead Technician
Daniel has been turning wrenches on overhead doors for fourteen years, the last six of them in Austin. He’s the guy we send when a LiftMaster opener hums but won’t move, or when a Wayne Dalton door has a cable that keeps jumping the drum. Daniel is factory-trained on Chamberlain and Genie openers and has rebuilt more trolley carriages, the sliding assembly that pulls the door along the rail, than anyone else on the crew. He drinks his coffee black, keeps torque charts in his glove box, and can tell you the exact spring cycle count on a door from forty feet away.
Rosa M., Senior Installer
Rosa leads our new-door installations, which means she’s the reason a Clopay or Amarr door lines up square, seals tight, and doesn’t whistle when the wind comes off the Hill Country. She’s been installing residential doors for nine years and specializes in retrofits where the old track has to come out and the opening isn’t exactly plumb, which in Austin’s older homes is more rule than exception. Rosa is certified on Clopay and Amarr product lines. She keeps a level in her back pocket and a roll of blue tape in her bag, and she won’t call a job finished until the door holds at half-open without drifting either direction.
Terrence J., Service Coordinator
Terrence is the voice on the phone at 2 a.m. when your torsion spring lets go and the door won’t budge. He spent five years as a field tech before moving to the dispatch desk, so when you tell him the opener clicks but the door doesn’t move, he knows the difference between a bad capacitor and a stripped gear. Terrence builds the daily schedule, tracks every truck, and makes sure the technician headed your way has the right springs, cables, and opener boards loaded before they leave the shop. He’s a native Austinite, a devoted breakfast taco loyalist, and the reason our arrival windows are more than optimistic guesses.
One Standard, Every Job
Every Bramwell location is independently owned, but none of them get to invent their own rules. That’s the Kingswell standard and it’s been the same since 2001. The technician at your door hands you a written price before touching a tool. That price is the price on the invoice, no wobble. The arrival window we give you on the phone is the window we keep. The job site gets swept, the old parts get hauled off, and the door gets tested through five full cycles before we leave. And every repair carries the 365-Day Done Right Promise in writing: if a covered repair fails inside a year, we come back and fix it at no charge. Ask any of our people about it. They don’t have to check a manual to tell you what it covers or why it’s written down every single time.
